I am sorry we are out of meatloaf when you made the order. Clearly, no one wanted to correct the error, offer me another meal (i.e. While I know we're all human and we have hard days with accidents, my true issue lies in folks taking accountability for their mistakes. While Mary claims that my $72.21 will be refunded (we shall wait to see tomorrow) I still have no meal outside of cold muffin and 2 side salads with an obscene amount of ranch dressing. I then asked to speak to the manager who I could hear standing next to her state "It will be a while, I am busy". I called back and spoke with Mary, who repeatedly called me "Hun", but could come up with no other explanation than "she put the meatloaf meal in the bag herself" and insinuated that the two men sitting at my dining room table (my son and my daughter's boyfriend of 3 years) had done something with the meal. VERY clearly not an accidental disconnect. When I called to speak with the manager I was put on hold for over 10 minutes only for him to come on and hang up the phone. My daughter's boyfriend of various breakfast meats and pancakes was subpar and cold, as well as uncooked hash browns.
My daughter's french toast, eggs, and hash browns, again with cold hash browns, her over medium eggs were uncooked. My son's chicken-fried steak with hash browns and eggs had cold uncooked hash browns. The meatloaf, mashed potatoes w/gravy, and vegetables are nowhere to be found, but 2 large salads and a cold cornbread muffin were all I had. She hands me my 2 bags of food and I drive home. Keep in mind this is a $72.21/4 meal order I have paid for, but sure I'll take a salad I could have made at home. It was then decided mutually that she would give me what meatloaf she had and give me a larger salad. Not what I really wanted to eat pie after a hard day at the hospital, so I refused the offer since I was really looking forward to a warm meal. I asked how that could be rectified to which she stated she could give me a pie. I was then notified by Mary that my diner meatloaf meal would be short of 1.5 slices of meatloaf. the diner where it was instantly given to the Ubereats driver (let's hope those people like their food with random germs, but don't worry we have all be vaccinated). When I arrived I was given a bag of food, when I got to my car I noticed it was someone else's food. I ordered my meal online for a 6:08 pick-up. I would like to share my dining experience with you. To say nothing about the poor quality of the food. $40 for breakfast and listening to that was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have encountered. I will not be returning to Black Bear to eat and told the manager, Debi, so. It is adolescent behavior and poor work ethic to demonstrate as he did in the dining area for all to hear. Whether or not I agree with the current administration is not the point. I will return tomorrow to see if he is working. She said she did not hear the employee but would go talk with him and, I believe, she said she would suspend him. I then called the manager, Debi, to ask if the management condoned and encouraged such poor judgement and behavior. I mentioned it to the cashier who gave a half-hearted apology. No other employee tried to stop the behavior. I do not go out to eat to listen to the employees' standing on politics - especially in the middle of the dining area. and began clapping his hands over his head yelling "Let's Go Brandon" and hyped-up a portion of the diners to join in with him - which they did. During our stay there, a male employee walked out of the kitchen. Understanding that the staffing level is down, we did not complain or return the undercooked pancakes or the cup of jalapenos in the breakfast bowl. Visited the State Street location (Boise) on.
